Fun Day at Sea 1

The first full day at sea, Ian, Ellie, Miles, and I spent the morning swimming and going down the water slides. There was also a super fancy brunch that we went to as well. It involved many fancy brunch dishes to include a 7-layer chocolate cake. 

Matt took Ian, Miles, and Liam to the gym. Ellie and I went and did Yoga on the very top deck of the ship. 

Ian, Ellie, and Miles spent time at their respective camps and clubs. Miles convinced the 13-14-year-old camp people that he was so close to being 15 that he should be in Club O2 with Ian, so he got switched and got to do Club O2 stuff. 

Matt and I enjoyed sitting out in the sea breeze, exploring the ship, and just relaxing. 

That evening was a fancy dress evening, and they also had photographers. We went ahead and got our family pictures taken. We all put on our nice Scottish wear from last year's Christmas, and we looked FABULOUS!

After the fancy dinner, the kids went to clubs/camps, and Matt and I went to check out a family-friendly comedy show. Ian and Miles' club had a dance that they thought was a lot of fun. Ian and Miles had free run of the ship, but had curfews. Ellie had free run of the ship if she told us where she was going and if it was daylight. Once it got dark, she was required to have an adult escort. As it turns out, running into just one drunk adult (while accompanied) had her convinced that these rules were a good idea. 

That night, we saw lights swooping and flying around. Finally, we realized they were pelicans reflecting the moonlight and the lights from the ship. Here is a link to see the video of them. They are pretty cool. https://photos.app.goo.gl/fCYuyvBTEyc9NtV47
