First Day of School

The first day of school is really exciting and little scary (especially if this is your third school in three years; my poor kids). However my little guys are all troopers. My big handsome Liam is in his final year of elementary school the big 6th grade. His teacher will be Ms. Barton who we met briefly during back to school and she seemed pretty awesome.

Ian is now in third grade! Bring on the times tables and reading real chapter books! Ian's teacher is Ms. Williams. Hopefully she'll be as great as Ms. Grey was last year.

Miles is starting Kindergarten! I can't believe how big my little Batman is getting. His actual start date is not for an additional week which is a source of serious frustration for him. He also is mad that there are only half days of school for him. In Texas three year olds went to pre-school full time so I have to admit it is a little funny.

We did go to an orientation the first day of school for kindergarten. There was a fun little scavenger hunt and Miles teacher Ms. Crockett set up a cute picture area. Miles loved it. Ms. Crockett seems like a great teacher and we look forward to getting to know her too!
