This year we decided to bring home some new baby chicks to vary our little flock. We brought home three Americanas (the children named them Fluffy (Ellie), Puff (Ian), and Shadow (Miles)), a buff orpington (named Chicken Little 2 (Liam named her)). Then we got a new barred rock which I named Scamper (because as a chick he looked like a penguin...and if you don't know who Scamper the Penguin is I have no desire to enlighten you.).
