This Christmas season we hit up a lot of fun places to enjoy the Christmas ambience. Christmas Eve we went to the zoo. It was cold, but blissfully empty of people.
The big cats are always more active and view unobstructed. The Johnston's and Burnett's joined us as well. It is a rare thing for me to really enjoy the reptile house, but on a Utah December...pure warm and humid bliss.
After the animal viewing we went over and had hot chocolate to celebrate. Then we headed home to celebrate Christmas Eve as a family.
We also took a trip to Thanksgiving Point earlier in December.
Ellie is finally getting big enough to really enjoy the different play areas. She crawls all over the kids museum and loves the balls in the Jungle play area.
The water table is one of the best areas for our little baby girl. She can sit in the baby seat and splash all she wants...the bad part is she splashes all she wants and Utah Decembers are cold.
The older boys of course always have a fabulous time playing with their best friends...each other.
A while ago the boys drew dinosaur pictures. They have now been put up on display at the Thanksgiving Point dinosaur museum.
Each kid had to find theirs, change the background twenty times and have its picture taken.
It was cute to see each kid so thrilled to have their artwork up for the world to see.
Taking our boys anywhere is an adventure, but our boys make it extra high energy adventure. From fighting dinosaurs however non-mobile to wrestling in open areas the boys burn energy.
