Ian Turns 9!

Ian's birthday was celebrated a few days early so that I could throw him a really awesome Justice League Party. All the kids initially started with making masks. We had two boys who "didn't like super heroes" who didn't want to make them...I made them anyway.

My awesome nephews dressed up as villains to help out with the party. Kimball is seen as the Riddler. Cooper is dressed with the best Doc Oc costume I have ever seen. Weston is seen as a stylish Penguin.

At super hero training camp the children did a bean bag toss to practice their aim. Various villain Imaginext toys were taped to the bean bag board.

All of the kids liked that fairly well.

Next the kids broke boards under the aegis of the Riddler a.k.a. Kimball who is also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. This event was a tremendous success.

They then journeyed over to pick out a ring of power and move a weight with their ring. Weston ran this and would yank the weight with some attached floss.

They had a relay race up the tree house stairs and down the slide running over to a stump to see if they could get out of their "Bat Cave" in a timely manner to fight villains.

Last they had to "leap" over a series of Imaginext hero/villain buildings in a single bound to get their capes.

After super hero training camp they went on a scavenger hunt. At the end was a batman piñata that was guarded by my awesome nephews. They fought off my nephews to get the piñata. Naturally we then broke the piñata to get to delicious candy.

After that we had pizza and opened presents.

The grand finale is a batman cake. Ian had a great time! All around all the kids seemed to like the board breaking and fighting the villains the very best.
