Fun At The Aquarium With Cousins

It took quite some time...all the way until November before we finally got to go to the aquarium. In the summer months Popop gifted us some aquarium tickets and we had to wait until the end of the soccer season before we had a free Saturday to go visit. When we did go we took Weston and Noel with us.

The last time we visited the aquarium in Utah it was inside an old grocery store. This was definitely an improvement.

There was an amazon rainforest with a rope bridge, cool rainforest fish and poisonous frogs.

Naturally every kid needed to go across that bridge...several times.

Then everyone had to climb all over the poisonous frogs too.

Ellie who is still too small to do anything other than be carried was banished to the stroller.

There are two stories with whales hanging from the ceilings.

We took the kids into see one of the 4D shows as well. I spent it wandering around the aquarium with Ellie who got one spray of water and began sobbing.

The boys loved the killer whale statue that was near the penguin exhibit. It reminded all of them of Sea World.

The kids loved the otters, the sting ray pool, the tropical fish, the Utah area. The aquarium has come a long way from  when it was a one room show case featuring a lobster and an octopus. This is rapidly becoming a family favorite.
