Feeding the Ravenous Ducks

This last summer when we fed ducks it was often a little disappointing. The duck leisurely pecked at the food barely touching it. When winter comes they are not so picky. In fact they swarm. They were standing on the toes of my shoes trying to snatch the bread from my fingers. Miles and Ian ran away and climbed on a rock...they were followed. Liam was able to pet and pick up the ducks. Ellie finally begged to be picked up so that she wasn't swarmed. We will plan to go back again to enjoy the starving ducks.
